COLIGNY - Two men convicted of the murder of Matlhomola Mosweu are scheduled to be sentenced in the North West High Court on Wednesday morning.

Pieter Dooreward and Philip Schutte were found guilty in October last year.

Mosweu (16) died in April 2017 after he was pushed from a moving van.

The pair had accused him of stealing sunflower heads from their employer.

The State has pleaded with the court to send a strong message when sentencing the pair.

AfriForum has already indicated that they will appeal the sentence and conviction.

They believe that the sole witness to the murder lied on the stand.
