JOHANNESBURG - Comair's business rescue practitioners (BRP) have been granted an extension to publish the airline's business rescue plan.
The plan is now expected to be released on 28 July.
The BRPs say funding is crucial to help in Comair's turnaround strategy.
They requested an extension from the company's creditors after receiving a non-binding expression of interest from a funder.
They wanted to incorporate this information into the business rescue plan.
Discussions with various funders began earlier this month.
Negotiations with the promising funder continue.
