WATCH | Concerns over spike in KZN taxi violence

 

DURBAN - The number of deaths relating to KwaZulu-Natal taxi violence in the Ugu district on the South Coast, has more than tripled between January and July compared to last year.

Police Minister, Bheki Cele, says the taxi industry needs to be deep-cleaned.

He met with taxi owners, drivers, and taxi industry leadership from the Ugu and Harry Gwala Districts on Thursday.
