COVID-19: Confirmed cases in SA continue to rise

JOHANNESBURG - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in South Africa has risen to 1686.

There has also been another death.

The death of a 57-year-old man from the Western Cape takes the total death toll to 12.

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize confirmed the latest figures on Monday.

Gauteng has the highest number of infections standing at 713, while the Northern Cape has the least cases.
