JOHANNESBURG - Two families are reeling after a husband and wife lost their battle against COVID-19.

They died less than a week apart.

The woman was a nurse at George Mukhari Academic Hospital.

Huma lost that battle two weeks ago.

Just five days later, her husband Tsitsi too, succumbed to the virus.

Both had to be buried immediately.

The couple has left behind three children -- a 28-year-old, a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old.

The two youngest will now be without a school because they're being forced to relocate.
