Court hears grim details of Tshegofatso Pule's final moments

Court proceedings resumed with Tshegofatso Pule's killer Muzikayise Malephane back in the witness box for cross-examination. JOHANNESBURG - Convicted killer-turned-state-witness Muzikayise Malephane says he didn't have the guts to hang Tshegofatso Pule alive. That's why he shot her first.

For the first time, the court has heard the grim details around Pule's last moments alive.

She was found hanging from a tree in Roodepoort in June 2020.

Ntuthuko Shoba is on trial for allegedly ordering the hit on his heavily pregnant girlfriend.

Malephane says he decided he had to tell the truth so that the Pule family could find some closure.

The trial resumes on Friday.
