JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 5,309 new COVID-19 cases and 143 more deaths.
KwaZulu-Natal is seeing the most infections, with over 1,300 hundred cases in 24 hours.
The Western Cape follows, with 1,120 cases.
#COVID19 UPDATE: A total of 49,845 tests were conducted in the last 24 hrs, with 5,309 new cases, which represents a 10.7% positivity rate.
