JOHANNESBURG - The National Institute for Communicable Diseases reported 5,372 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
A total of 282 more COVID-19 related deaths take SA's death toll to 83,899.
KwaZulu-Natal recorded over 1,300 new cases.
