JOHANNESBURG - More than 860 new COVID-19 cases have been identified in South Africa.
A further 51 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported.
The majority of new cases, 605, are from Gauteng.
Just over 40,000 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours with a 2.1 percent positivity rate.
