JOHANNESBURG - COVID-19 cases in South Africa have increased by 26,976.
Gauteng continues to be the hotspot with 8,021 new infections.
It's followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 5,924 cases, the Western Cape has 4,455 new infections and Mpumalanga with 1,447 new cases.
The positivity rate sits at 32.2-percent.
Sadly, 54 more people have died due to COVID-19 complications.
The death toll now sits at 90,226.
