COVID-19 Corruption | 15 arrested for SAPS PPE graft

JOHANNESBURG - 15 people have been arrested for COVID-19 corruption related to the South African Police Service.

They were nabbed by a task force appointed by the Police Commissioner and the NPA.

They include an administrative clerk, two active police officers, and six former policemen.

The others are civilians linked to the PPE supplier.

They face charges of fraud, theft, and corruption.

The suspects are expected to appear at the Palm Ridge Specialised Crimes Court on Tuesday.
