COVID-19 in SA: Deaths rise to 16,667

JOHANNESBURG -The health department reported 81 more COVID-19 deaths in South Africa, taking the death toll 16,667.

A total of 903 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours.

The total number of tests done is 4,164,491 with 12,011 new tests done.

More than 660,000 people have recovered from the virus.

This is a recovery rate of 90 percent.
