JOHANNESBURG - The South African Medical Research Council board says their president, Professor Glenda Gray didn’t breach any of their policies.

The assertion comes after she made a media statement criticising aspects of the COVID-19 national lockdown.

In a statement the board says they have discussed the challenges relating to the media statements made by Gray in her private capacity and they will not be instituting any further investigation on this matter.
