JOHANNESBURG - COVID-19 could impact next year's local government elections.

The ANC's National Working Committee is discussing a possible postponement.

ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says the ANC NWC has reflected on a variety of options including synchronizing of national, provincial and local government elections.

In March the IEC postponed by-elections due to the pandemic.
