JOHANNESBURG - The number of new infections is dropping with 1,004 new infections recorded.
Sadly, four more people have died over the last 24 to 48 hours.
Gauteng is leading in infections with 435 new cases recorded, followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 172 new infections and the Western Cape is sitting on 160 cases.
The rest of the provinces have recorded less than 100 infections.
Over 10,600 tests have been conducted with a positivity rate of 9.4-percent.
