JOHANNESBURG - South Africa continues to lose lives to the Coronavirus.
90 more people have died over the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to over 51,721.
Most deaths came from Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the Free State.
1,464 new cases have been recorded.
The recovery rate stands at 95-percent, with the country dealing with just 22,343 active cases.
The number of healthcare workers who’ve been vaccinated is just over 177,000.
