COVID-19 in SA | 2,062 new cases, 10 deaths recorded

JOHANNESBURG - A total of 2,062 new COVID-19 infections have been recorded countrywide.

Sadly, 10 more people have died.

Gauteng continues to lead infection numbers with 706 cases.

It is followed by the Western Cape with 420 new infections and KwaZulu-Natal with 278.

Over 23,000 tests were conducted bringing the positivity rate to 8.8 percent.
