COVID-19 In SA: 2,073 new cases, 46 deaths

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 2,073 new cases in the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 1,588,221.

At least 46 more people have died taking the total death toll to 54,557.

There are 23,279 active cases in the country.

The recovery rate stands at 95 percent.
