JOHANNESBURG - The number of new COVID-19 infections is sitting on 2,334.
Gauteng is leading with 906 new infections.

This is followed by KwaZulu Natal and the Western Cape with just over 350 new infections respectively.
The North West recorded 189 infections and Mpumalanga has 174 cases.
One person has died due to COVID-19 related complications in the last 24 hours
The positivity rate stands at 7.3 percent.
