COVID-19 in SA: 3,285 new cases, 89 deaths recorded

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 3,285 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.

A further 89 people have died due to the virus, bringing total fatalities to over 57,000.

The country currently has a 93 percent recovery rate and 61,246 active cases.

Gauteng accounts for most of these cases.

Government is urging people to continue following precautionary measures.
