JOHANNESBURG - South Africa recorded 3,342 new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours.
Sadly 12 more people have died.

Gauteng continues to lead with 1,050 new cases. It is followed by the Western Cape with 515.
KwaZulu-Natal is third with 353.
The positivity rate stands at 10.1% percent.
