COVID-19 in SA | 4,379 new cases, 30 deaths

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa records 4,379 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.  

The Western Cape is now the country's epicentre with 1,181 new cases.

Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal mirrored each other with over 900 cases recorded

While the Eastern Cape reported 465 new infections.

The positivity rate stands at 23.1 percent. 

A further 30 COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded.

Bringing the death toll to 91,228.
