JOHANNESBURG - The NICD said 566 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng had the most, with 233 new infections followed by the Western Cape with 140.
KwaZulu-Natal recorded 117 new infections.
The rest of the provinces reported just under a hundred cases collectively.
Over 14,000 tests were conducted, with a 3.9 percent positivity rate.
Sadly, four more people have died due to COVID-19 related complications.
