JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 657 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
Most of the cases are in Gauteng with 338 new infections.
It’s followed by the Western Cape, with just over 100 cases.
KwaZulu-Natal is sitting on 91 new infections.
The rest of the provinces have recorded less than 50 cases.
3 more people have died as a result of the coronavirus.
Just over 13,000 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours,
The positivity rate stands at 4.8 percent.
