JOHANNESBURG - Another 199 people have died from COVID-19 related complications in the last 24-hours.
6,787 new COVID-19 infections have been identified countrywide.
Coronavirus cases in the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng remain high.
1,967 cases were reported in the Western Cape, 1,442 in KZN, and Gauteng recorded over 1,000 new cases.
#COVID19 UPDATE: A total of 31,242 tests were conducted in the last 24 hrs, with 6,787 new cases, which represents a 21.7% positivity rate.
