JOHANNESBURG - There have been 9,260 new COVID-19 infections recorded on Friday.
Sadly, 140 people succumbed to COVID in the past 24 hours.
The death toll now stands at 92,252. The positivity rate is at 20.2 percent.
The Western Cape is leading infections with 2,435 new cases.
It's followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 2,303 and Gauteng with 1,813.
