CAPE TOWN - Western Cape health authorities targeted taxi drivers, commuters and hawkers in their vaccine campaign on Monday.

Drivers -- and even commuters -- have seized the opportunity to get jabbed at the Cape Town taxi rank.

A pop-up vaccine site has been set up with a target of administering 250 doses.

Officials are hoping to get even more drivers and commuters inoculated at pop-up sites at other taxi ranks across the province in the coming weeks.
