JOHANNESBURG - South Africa recorded 3,197 new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours.
Sadly 20 more people have died.
Gauteng continues to lead with 997 cases reported.
It’s followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 462 cases.
Over 34,000 tests were conducted.
The country’s positivity rate stands at 8.2 percent.
