JOHANNESBURG - The NICD reported 3,274 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng is leading in infections with 1,086 new cases recorded.
It’s followed by the Western Cape with 849 cases.

KwaZulu-Natal is sitting on 435 new infections and the rest of the provinces recorded less than 200 cases.
Sadly, 15 more people have died over the last 24 to 48 hours.
A total of 23,666 tests have been conducted with a positivity rate of 13.8 percent.
