JOHANNESBURG - The National Department of Health reported 4,074 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng is leading in infections with 1,365 new cases recorded.
It’s followed by the Western Cape with 997 cases.

KwaZulu-Natal is sitting on 484 new infections, The Eastern Cape has 441 and the rest of the provinces recorded fewer than 300 cases.
Sadly, 14 more people have died over the last 24-to-48 hours.
A total of 28,778 tests have been conducted with a positivity rate of 14.16 percent.
As of today the cumulative number of #COVID19 cases identified in SA is 3 952 193 with 4 074 new cases reported. Today 14 deaths have been reported bringing the total to 101 142 deaths.
