JOHANNESBURG - The latest COVID-19 numbers are showing a downward trend.
The NICD said 443 new infections have been recorded over the past 24 hours.
Sadly, two more people have died in the last 24 to 48 hours.

Gauteng is leading with 163 infections. It’s followed by the Western Cape with 82 cases.
KwaZulu-Natal is sitting on 65 infections and the rest of the provinces recorded less than 50 cases each.
Just over 11,300 tests were conducted and the positivity rate stands at 3.9 percent.
