COVID-19 in SA: Over 13,200 new cases, 136 deaths

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded the highest number of daily COVID-19 infections since January.

In the last 24-hours, over 13,200 people have tested positive.

More than 7,800 of them are in Gauteng.

The Western Cape has breached the one thousand mark with over 1,400 people infected with COVID-19.

136 people have lost their lives to the virus.
