JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 7,502 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hour reporting cycle.
The NICD said 573 more people have died.
Infections in the Western Cape stand at 1,706 and 1,273 in Gauteng.
A total of 39,639 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
