COVID-19 in SA | 7,657 new cases, 59 deaths

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded over 7,600 new COVID-19 infections in a single day. 

More than 60-percent of those new infections are in Gauteng.

And they bring the active cases in South Africa to over 82,000.

Another 59 people have died, bringing the death toll to above 57,700.

Meanwhile, 44,500 and 60 tests were conducted in 24 hours.
