COVID-19 in SA: Positive cases pass 30,000

JOHANNESBURG - There are 1,727 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

This bring the total number of positive coronavirus cases to 30,967.

There are now 32 more COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total number to 643.

According to the Health Department, a total of 701,883 tests have been conducted cumulatively of which 21,708 tests have been conducted since the last report.

More than 16,116 people have recovered, resulting in more than 52-percent recovery.
