JOHANNESBURG - The second surge of the coronavirus is slowly approaching, according to Professor Wolfgang Preiser, a virologist at the Stellenbosch University.

Professor Preiser says warning signs of an upsurge are here.

"I think the warning signs are there and once we are on the upsurge where the numbers keep rising and growing exponentially then we will be in a really tight spot and this is where Germany is finding themselves and they are worried their cases could just shoot up and it gets out of control rapidly," he said.
