COVID-19 in SA: Stricter restrictions recommended

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation on Sunday night.

Ramaphosa is expected to discuss government's response to a new, highly transmittable variant responsible for the third wave sweeping across Gauteng.

The president will meet with the National Coronavirus Command Council before his address.
