JOHANNESBURG - The number of healthcare workers vaccinated has surpassed 100,000.
By Friday evening, 100,180 people had been vaccinated under the Sisonke Protocol.
Meanwhile, the number of new COVID-19 infections rose by just over 1,300.
The Health Department confirmed 104 new COVID-19 deaths, taking South Africa's deaths toll to 50,566.
