JOHANNESBURG - Both Pfizer and J&J vaccine boosters will be available from Tuesday.

The Health Department says it's happy almost 70 percent of senior citizens in the country have now been fully vaccinated.

It's urging the rest of the population to also get the jab.

"Numbers of people who are fully vaccinated, we're sitting at about 38 percent adult population which is more than 15 million," said Sibongiseni Dhlomo, Deputy Health Minister.

"We've used 27 million doses countrywide."
