COVID-19 in SA | Western Cape sees influx of trauma cases

CAPE TOWN - COVID-19 numbers are dropping in the Western Cape but trauma cases are spiking.

The Western Cape is sitting with over 50,000 active COVID-19 cases.

It is, however, still lower than what the province experienced at the same time during the third wave.

Hospital admissions are also lower, with under two deaths per day.

Health officials are expecting the fourth wave to be shorter than the third.
