JOHANNESBURG - The quest for justice will continue for the family of slain anti-gang unit detective Charl Kinnear.

His widow says she and her children won't stop fighting until those behind his murder are behind bars.

Saturday marks a year since the decorated policeman was gunned down in front of his Bishop Lavis home.

Kinnear's family is hoping for more breakthroughs in the case.

Two people are accused of the murder, alleged underworld boss Nafiz Modack and former rugby player Zane Kilian. 

Kilian and Modack are expected back in court next week for a bail application.
