JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance has laid criminal charges against ANC top brass over the alleged Bosasa kickbacks.
DA chief whip John Steenhuisen laid charges against ANC MP Vincent Smith, ANC chairperson Gwede Mantashe, Communications Minister Nomvula Mokonyane, former SAA chairperson Dudu Myeni, among others.
Meanwhile, the ANC has accepted Smith's request to step aside from chairing three parliamentary committees, because of the bribery allegations against him.
He allegedly received at least R670, 000 in benefits from the controversial company Bosasa.
Smith has denied the claims.
