CAPE TOWN - The DA has welcomed a high court decision that dismissed former President Jacob Zuma's bid for leave to appeal a personal cost order against him in the State of Capture review case.

While he was president, Zuma appealed a ruling that he be held personally liable for his attempt to have the Public Protector's remedial action set aside.

President Ramaphosa withdrew that appeal.

Zuma will now have to pay millions out of his own pocket.

The DA 's James Selfe says this will set an example to the other Members of Parliament.
