Senekal wants end to racial tensions

SENEKAL - Saturday was a calmer day in the Free State town of Senekal but racial tensions continue to divide the community.

Some people complain that white people in the area are acting superior to them, while farmworkers say they're being overworked and not being compensated.

The tension follows a standoff on Friday between a group of farmers and the EFF outside court, where a man accused of murdering a farm manager was appearing.
