JOHANNESBURG - Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bavelile Hlongwa will be laid to rest in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, today, on Saturday.
She was killed in a car accident last week Friday in Limpopo.
Hlongwa had stopped to help a motorist whose car had overturned and was hit by a truck.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared an official funeral and ordered that the national flag flies at half-mast.
He's expected to deliver the eulogy at Hlongwa's funeral.
