Durban social housing project underway

DURBAN - Human Settlements Minister Nomaindia Mfeketo is launching three social housing projects in Durban this weekend.

Her department is also marking the milestone of delivering 4,7 million houses since 1994.

The housing is aimed at people who earn between R1,500 and R15,000 a month.

The homes are close to work opportunities and transport nodes.

The minister is accompanied by Kwazulu-Natal Human Settlements MEC, Ravi Pillay.
