DURBAN - The Durban Institute of Technology has been granted an interdict restricting protests on campus.
DUT reopens on Monday after an agreement was reached with students.
Vice Chancellor, Thandwa Mthembu says despite resolving some issues with student leaders, the interdict is there in case anything happens.
The interdict prohibits students from protesting nearer than 150 metres from lecture venues.
Students have been protesting for weeks over a number of issues, including funding and accommodation.
