EC tavern owner: 'I wasn't here at the time of the tragedy'

EAST LONDON - Enyobeni Tavern owner, Siyakhangela Ngevu claims he was not present when the tragedy occurred.

According to Ngevu, security guards called him to notify him about the chaos at the house.

This after 20 people died at his tavern in Scenery Pak in the Eastern Cape.

The cause of death is unknown at this stage.
