JOHANNESBURG - The EFF says it’s confident Adam Catzavelos will stand trial for the use of the k-word in a viral video.
This as Catzavelos is continuing his fight to get a charge of crimen injuria against him dropped.
The Randburg Magistrates Court heard that his legal team is still waiting for a decision from the national director of public prosecutions – on whether the case will be dropped.
Representations to the Gauteng office have already been unsuccessful – while the way forward in the Greek prosecution remains unclear.
Catzavelos caused an uproar in 2018 after a video emerged of him using the k-word while on holiday in Greece.
