In a statement, the EFF says Mkhatshwa must be dismissed to send a strong statement against the brutal abuse, harassment and killing of women in South Africa.

The three accused are facing six charges, including rape, murder, kidnapping, and defeating the ends of justice.

Former EFF Secretary-General, Godrich Gardee's daughter was laid to rest over the weekend.
